Flower Fluff

BUTTERFLY PIN/MAGNET

#1 The image is from A DAY FOR DAISIES
These are the supplies and tools you will need to make this card.
#2
Take your image and color it. You may need to have up to 3 of the same image for the layers. Then glue it to 3 layers of card stock with lots of tacky glue because you want the paper to become soft.
 #3
 #4
 #5
#6 Next cut out the image that will be the bottom and bend the wings until they are the way you want them.

 #7

 #8
#9 This needs to be done to all of the pieces.

#10 Using a black marker go around all edges then add stickles where ever you want it and let it dry.

#11 Now start laying the layers.
put a small amount the quick dry glue and add each piece.
#12 Your butterfly should look like this now.

#13

#14 You are now ready to spray it with the triple thick clear Glaze. Spray it 3 or 4 times letting it dry in between spraying.

#15 When it dry turn it over and spray the underneath side. Then add your  or magnet.

 #16
Tape a washer to the back of your colored card stock as this will hold the magnet in place on the card. Then just tape it all together and add your ribbon and it's done!

FLOWER FLUFF

Items needed:
Styrofoam balls, Re-inkers, Plastic Bowl, Spoon and some small containers to store it in.

1. Simply rub the two Styrofoam balls together until you get enough dust to color. You can use any kind of re-inkers (water-based, alcohol inks, chalk inks or even food color.)

2. Add a few drops of ink and mix until you get the desired color. leave the fluff out over night to dry then put it into airtight containers.

To make these cattails I used some covered wire dipped in Scotch quick dry glue then dipped into the brown fluff. You may have to do it more than once to get full coverage and let dry.

  72. Hi Sandy,
I am peeking in from the Outlawz Party and Hop. What an awesome technique. It is a bit ironic, too. I already finished a few of the games, specifically the OOZAK game. While browsing the store, I came across Sparkly Fluff and didn't know what it was. Now I get to see what it could be used for! TFS
